I *heart* NBC
How sweet is it that NBC offers full episodes of several of its shows online…for FREE?! This is great news for me now that I’m obsessed with 30 Rock.
There’s a small catch. The episodes can only be viewed in 20%-30% chunks at a time, with a commercial thrown in at the start of each clip. I thought it would be annoying, but it’s really not a bad way to watch shows.
Now if HBO would follow NBC’s lead, I could cancel cable all together.

I’m seeing this from a slightly different angle. I haven’t had cable in years, and wasn’t really watching any teevee, after Buffy, Angel and Firefly went off the air. Then I started getting into DVD box sets – popping te discs into my powerbook. And now I’m watching Heroes, on NBC’s site. Due to these advancements in technology I’m watching *more* teevee now – just not on a television set.
Sigh.

abc does this, too. and how tempted am i by all those Lost episodes?! but no, no…i shall wait for the DVD when I can watch it in full glory. but web watchin’ is damn sure good enough for me to catch up on Men In Trees.
They do the same deal with the commercial running 3x.
